Talking Digital Watch
Do you like watches that tell you the time every hour? I like this type of watch when I was little but I don't need it anymore.

RE: Talking Digital Watch
I do not need my watch to talk to me, or my mobile phone for that matter. I like the idea of the unit doing its job and me doing mine. I might be old fashion that way too.

RE: Talking Digital Watch
No, honestly I think its quite annoying. When I want to see what time it is I want to be able to enjoy looking at my watch and reading it for myself.

RE: Talking Digital Watch
I would not mind if I could adjust the setting so it would only talk part of the time, constantly being on only would drive me a little mad though. I could see its use for certain times when I am unable to look, but not all of the time.

RE: Talking Digital Watch
Part of reading time is to appreciate your watch by looking at how your watch ticks. I don't know if other people are doing this but I love watching my watch tick. As for the talking watch, I don't need it as well.

RE: Talking Digital Watch
Most adults agree that a talking watch is not needed anymore. Is it helpful for kids to have talking watches as well? They wouldn't learn how to read time if they are only listen to the hourly alarm of the watch.

RE: Talking Digital Watch
It is helpful when they are learning how to read because it will tell them how to correctly state the time. I have a roommate before that has this kind of watch and it annoys me very much because it tells the time even at night.
