The thrill of purchasing a new Rolex
My brother got a good Rolex the other day and when I asked him what time it was, he took too much time on it and ended up rolling over a huge rock that blew out one tire.
I rarely take my concentration off the road when driving, let alone check the time on my wrist watch. |

RE: The thrill of purchasing a new Rolex
Maybe next time you won't ask your brother about the time while he is driving. I'm glad that it was just a blown tire and not a car crash. I guess it is better to have a digital watch while driving so we can easily read the time.

RE: The thrill of purchasing a new Rolex
I think the first time you get a watch on your own, when its not a gift that is when it truly kicks in. You either take it for what it is or you value it a little more and end up being a fan for life.

RE: The thrill of purchasing a new Rolex
It happens to us that we stare at any newly bought possession of ours, especially when it is very expensive or very special for us. I'm also glad that both of you were okay.
