I have been getting spammed a good bit by places that know I have an interest in watches but the places are like "win a convention ticket for watch ___ exhibit" and the like. How do you tell the fake from the real?

I think I have become so skeptical about most of these things that I never pay attention to any that I come across. Are there real ones for that matter?

If there are any they are hard to find thats for sure. I had have to actually setup a huge spam filter with a ton of keywords to block most of the clutter out.
