Her grandmother got her a cute little watch to start the collection early on, its her birthday and now she has her very first watch. She is more excited that I think I am for her getting into a new hobby (other than cartoons or electronic games).

Is the hobby collecting watches? If so then it is better hobby than watching cartoon or playing electronic games. How old is she anyways? By the way, say my belated happy birthday to her.
