Changing The Surface Or Retaining It?
I have a very old watch and the glass on its surface is not clear anymore. I want to preserved all the parts but it is not useful if the surface is blurry. What will you do if you have this problem?

What will you do if you have this problem? Is the crystal glass or 'plastic' ? If the latter you can make a significant improvement rubbing with a mild abrasive (toothpaste or Brasso wadding) For deep scores you could start off with a very fine emery paper and then follow up with a mild abrasive. Google with 'cleaning watch crystal' and you will find several sites with tutorials on this subject, i.e. click on this : - this site |
