Metal Bands For Digital Watches
I don't know if this will look good on digital watches. What do you think will a digital look like when you replaced the band with a metal band like the bands used in analogue watches?

It would depend on the material from which the face is made. If it is plastic or rubber, the metal band would look silly and pretentious. If the face was metal, it would probably look fine.

You are right. I just saw a friend wearing a digital watch that has a metal casing. I'm sure it will look fine as the watch looks like an analogue watch if I only see the sides of it.

If it is set right it can look nice. I light a good deal of metal and my wedding ring is actually titanium so its not something that would be that uncommon for me to wear. The only issue is that it can look bad if someone does not take their time designing it.

The design of the watch might be affected if the bands are changed into metal bands. There are watches, not just digital, that have replaceable bands when you buy it so better look for those watches. |

I think it would look like its trying too hard. I really end up being displeased when people try too hard to change a product into something it is not. This happens for all types of things and most times it ends up a bad way for the company doing so.

I agree with your thoughts piecedmoment. On the other hand, I still respect the styles of others no matter how bland it looks to me. But when the company makes a bad design then it will make an impact on me and I might now want to buy a watch from that company.
