PayPal or VISA card?
Assuming you are not purchasing a watch from Amazon or eBay but on another reputable site, which between the two payment methods is the safest?
I stand correction but when paying using the card, are you the one that initiates payment or is it automatically deducted? |

RE: PayPal or VISA card?
I think that either would be just as safe. I use PayPal often because it is convenient, but VISA is good sometimes because it is possible to get a "one time use" number that makes it impossible for your card number to be stolen and used again elsewhere.

RE: PayPal or VISA card?
It is true that PayPal is mostly convenient but I normally have some fear of the unknown regarding VISA cards in general. Thanks for sharing that bit of information about the cards.

RE: PayPal or VISA card?
Yeah, cases of cards being used elsewhere have been on the rise lately. I still prefer Paypal because it is simple and hassle free. In addition, there seems to be a lot of security.

RE: PayPal or VISA card?
I agree that PayPal has more security because the company will confirm whether the purchase is really from you. Another good thing with PayPal is that you can check your purchases immediately while with the card, you have to wait for your monthly bill or call the company to check your account.

RE: PayPal or VISA card?
PayPal e-check is also nice. The fees are a lot less ($5, I believe) and it operates very much like a traditional checking account.
