Vintage 1979 Texas Instrument LED Digital Watch MINT Condition in Box

I am selling on eBay the very finest and extremely RARE Texas Instruments LED Digital Watch in pristine condition in the box.

You will never see another - the box itself is mega rare and to find one of these Texas Instruments LED watches in such mint condition is unreal.

Well if the other one sold for £84 ($125) then surely this one is worth double that as having the original box sometimes can double the value..but not sure... I guess it must be easily £100, but if 2 people really want it then it could go much higher,,,but good luck anyway, too expensive for me, but would love to own it.

Yes, the watch itself is not that rare but they are getting harder to find , have seen a few of them on ebay,,,but also have not seen one with the box, or one in as new condition. Its a shame it's a later 1979 model and not earlier say 1974 as into the late 70's Texas Instruments started to mass produce LED watches and many were sold so it won't be a super rare model....but the box and condition do make this quite interesting !

Anyway it was a good find should easily be £100 but who knows, along with Pulsar and Bulova, Texas Instruments is one of the ones people look out for, any of these 3 are worth money depending on the condition and model.

I've had dozens of LED watches in the last few years but its hard to find one working.. its always the batteries have been left in and leaked and the module is unrepairable, in the rare case you do get one working its not a well known or desirable make and probably only worth £10-20.

Yep, someone on the Digital Watch forum http://www.dwf.nu says it should be worth $150 easily, but not sure it might be more because of the box and condition

Well it sold for £94 so guess I have to be happy with that ! No doubt it will be worth double that in 5 years though !
