Possibly the coolest watch ever!

This watch is not your average watch, by any means! It is a pocket watch and it also has a feature that will "count down" the next THOUSAND years! It looks very interesting! |

RE: Possibly the coolest watch ever!
I can't imagine any watch lasting 1000 years, but its a great gimick.. good watches are ones that time in small periods not long ones, eg thay are accurate to within 1/1000th of a second, nobody will be around when that watch moves for the 1000 year period !

Wow. It looks like a watch straight out of a science fiction movie! With its rotating spires for the hour and for the month, it's unlike any other watches I've seen. Also, I've never heard of a watch that needs oil change. [/quote]

RE: Possibly the coolest watch ever!
That is a fascinating watch, but I'm not sure I'd buy it. I think the 1000 year indicator is too small to really do you any good within your lifetime. However, I could probably use a reminder for oil changes!

That is a very complex watch! I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like it. It may be a little much for me, but a pretty cool concept anyway.

Arguably the coolest watch I have seen in a long time. I know a friend that is crazy about watches and he would be more than willing to add this to his collection.

I also think it would take some getting used to. Reading the time on it would not be as quick and simple, at least at first, as glancing at a standard analogue or digital watch.

That watch is definitely a conversation starter! If I had one, I do not think I would be able to tell someone the time. All the dials would get me distracted. I wonder what would happen to the watch if you forgot the oil change?

I love the idea of having a watch that you can pass down the generations. What will happen when the watch reaches 1000? Will it just reset. Who know, maybe it will play a little jingle.

RE: Possibly the coolest watch ever!
Have you guys read all the description of the watch. It states in the blog or article that after the oil change is done then all the counters will reset to zero. I don't know if the 1000 year countdown will be affected by that.
Anyhow, that pocket watch is too complicated for me so I won't buy it. |
