Watch Movements.
Hi All, Very New To Watches. Part Of A Joblot Off Ebay Were 4 Movements In Differant Stages Of Repair, 1 Inscribed Great Britain GB 430. 2 Inscribed Great Britain GB 499. 3 Inscribed Great Britain GB 436. 4 Inscribed Timex 329. Can Anyone Supply Anymore Details On These Movements, Are Any Worth Restoring Further? Looking Forward To Your Replies. Thanks.

Its difficult to tell without seeing them, do any more of them have names on the face ?...why don't you upload some pictures of the watches then I can make a better judgement.

Watches manufactured by Smiths / Ingersoll in their Welsh factory were labeled 'Made in Great Britain'.
They were cheap mass produced items and still have little value - though there is a strong market for Smiths pocket watches with 'character' faces - sadly most are over priced phonies. |
