Another Ballistic Watches Video
In this Ballistic watch video the watch is smacked with a hammer, tried to be scratched with a stanley knife, and then repeatedly thrown against the wall - none of which done any damage apart from the strap had minor scratches. The last test the Ballistic watch was put in a pan of boiling water for one minute, as the strap was leather then it didn't survive, this test would probably have worked better with the stainless streel strap watch. The watch came out working - next time maybe I'll do another to see how long it can survive in boiling water !

RE: Another Ballistic Watches Video
Funny... but whats the point of boiling it in water,,,?? Although it must be tough and its surreal to see it ticking away as the water is boiling !

RE: Another Ballistic Watches Video
Probably just incase you fall into a vat of boiling water at work or something,,, you don't want to damage your watch do you !
On a more serious note, these Ballistic watches must be tough to go through all that, I'd wager that even a Casio G Shock couldnt take even one smack of that hammer or a couple of throws against the wall, the knife would ruin it for sure and boiling, well it would melt in seconds probably. |
