Mobile Phone Wristwatch
These days it seems the fad is that anything that goes on your wrist and tells the time is called a wristwatch, hense this mobile phone wristwatch... in fact I'd say that this is more like having a mobile phone strapped to your wrist - but nevertheless still quite gadgety and cool, although I don't think they look comfortable and I certainly don't think I would feel right wearing one..especially for long periods, the size probably means trouble getting your coat on and off and they look easily vulnerable to breakage - maybe Ballistic should make one !!
And as for the holding your wrist against your head to talk...well.. I bet after 5 minutes you get cramp,, or at the very least ...a lot of funny looks from passers by...why do you think they don't show it on the video,,, it will probably look hilarious....and nobody will want to buy one....ok you can still use the headphones though I suppose, but still overall its a gadget I think we could all do without until the technology improves and they get smaller. |

RE: Mobile Phone Wristwatch
What a chunk ! Still mobile phones have come a long way since those brick mobile phones in the mid 1980's, I couldnt wear one of these either - would take me a while to get used to.

RE: Mobile Phone Wristwatch
They are not catching on yet, I havent seen anyone wearing one and it seems to be small unknown companies making them in the far east and they do look a bit flimsy ... will need a big company like Nokia to make one really before they take off,

RE: Mobile Phone Wristwatch
Yeah, but you can imagine 10 years from now the technology will be better and they will be all the rage. Although they will have to find a way of getting a kid of expanding screen for the internet.

RE: Mobile Phone Wristwatch
There is a Bluetooth logo on the watch. That means that is allows you to use the Bluetooth headsets does it not? That would increase its functionality greatly.

RE: Mobile Phone Wristwatch
Consumers now prefer pads rather than small cellphones. So I don't this wristwatch cellphone will be a hit now. If hologram will be available then I guess the cellphone wristwatch will work because it doesn't have to be bulky to show what you need to see.

RE: Mobile Phone Wristwatch
Wow I have heard about this on a few occasions but never really gave it much though. I would think it would be more popular now. Does anybody know someone who wears one?

RE: Mobile Phone Wristwatch
Well, I think i will take some time before this mobile wristwatch becomes the in-thing. My opinion is that the use of bluetooth is a great one and who knows, perhaps the next few years will herald a new page in this sort of technology.

RE: Mobile Phone Wristwatch
Bluetooth would be the best way to use it, in my opinion. Even at that, though, it is quite large, and that would be a downside. It seems a bit too unwieldy to me.

RE: Mobile Phone Wristwatch
Seems a little to big and bulky for me, if it were a little smaller or maybe a different design I would be okay with it. To me it looks like one piece that I would end up getting nicked up a little too much for my liking.
